Michelmores awarded Legal Services Commission contract

The Michelmores Family Law Service has been awarded a contract by the Legal Services Commission to continue to offer public funding (legal aid) to clients.

The contract comes into force on 13 October 2010 but only those firms with contracts can offer to carry out legal aid work from 1st October. 

Simon Thomas, Head of the Family Team, said: "We are delighted to retain our contract for public funding, giving us the flexibility to offer eligible clients an alternative way to fund their legal fees."

The Michelmores Family Law Service is a specialist family law department at Michelmores Solicitors, offering advice on a wide range of family legal issues, including divorce and separation, children matters and domestic violence.
