Current indications suggest that children and young people services will lose more than £14 million, with early services down by nearly £3 million. This will hit places like Surestart and other nursery facilities that are available to help parents who find that coping with their children difficult. It will also impact those services that provide help and support for families in crisis, to include those who may be on the radar of Social Services with a view to children being taken into care.
If you are one of these people who may be worried that Social Services are involved or you have a child in care and are worried about the services that may be provided to them, the Family Law Service can help. Our lawyers deal with Social Services on a regular basis, so if you would like further information, please contact the Family Team on 0800 923 0400.
