Collaborative law - Divorce

Tonight, Thursday 17 November 2011, there is a Devon wide meeting of collaborative lawyers.

This group was, in part, established by the experienced and well known Family Law mediator and collaborative lawyer, Penny Rogers. Collaborative law provides divorcing or separating couples with a real opportunity to work together, as a team, with trained professionals to resolve disputes respectfully, without going to Court.

From its inception, Penny was quick to recognise the benefits of collaborative law and is enthusiastic to encourage other family law solicitors to promote and use the collaborative law process rather than expensive, prolonged and often acrimonious court proceedings:

"I have been a trained collaborative lawyer  for a number of years and have had lots of experience in seeing the real benefits to my clients of collaborative law in resolving their family disputes effectively whilst preserving their relationship with their children and former partners."

The Michelmores Family Law Service are proud to have three trained collaborative solicitors/lawyers within their Team.
